Gee, I used to listen to Nevermore night and day when I was 20.

Ahh the metal days were good days. Opeth is about the only metal band i'll still listen to and enjoy.
Both new to me, really. While wandering around, here's an album I'd near forgotten about:

At a guess, 'Flip Your Wig?' 'Makes No Sense At All?' Bob Mould had something of a solo career after that.

Or maybe this one, a personal fave: And quite prophetic, I think: (Hard to miss) [yt]

beckyc is listening to Jack Johnson and I am revisiting the 90's alternative/hard rock band formerly known as Bush.
My rankings:
5. Deconstructed
4. Golden State
3. The Science Of Things
2. Razorblade Suitcase
1. Sixteen Stone

.

I used to go see Husker Du around town for a very brief time, until they simultaneously hit it big and hit the heroin.

Great, great band to see live.

I came across "Can't see me" by Tupac (haven't heard that song since highschool, 10 years ago), one of the best songs ever made.

I've been trying to learn to play the rhythm bones recently, so I've been listening to a lot of bluegrass.

I'm listening to Human to a God, by a great band called Gaelic Storm, who play traditional and not-so-traditional Irish folk music.

Finnish Hip-Hop. This video is sort of a parody but I like it anyway, they are rapping about living in Helsinki's (the capital) suburbs. And the name is SMC Hoodrats, don't think it comes from Super-Multi-Coated though
