Attached is a photo from the website of the adapter. It comes with a removal tool.
The lens does not fit smugly into the camera. There is some give and then the lens cannot be rotated further.Pressing the lens unlock button has no effect on being able to turn the lens.
Thanks again.
I looked at your picture and compared with a genuine Pentax adapter.
The notch on the spring side looks similar but the other notch looks to be cut closer to the thread.
In an SMC Takumar there is a tiny pin which is close enough to the thread it might catch. This pin is pushed in when the lens is mounted on a body, and enables the Auto/Man switch to be switched only when the lens is mounted.
Can you change the Auto/Man switch on the lens to Man? If you can the pin will be retracted, and may enable you to release it.
When the lens is mounted completely firmly that pin would be very close to the red dot on the mount. The spring would be at about the same place too.
