Two days late for the theme of the 24th with a portrait of sorts...
The stare
Havoc and destruction are down to stay for the weekend. Black kelpie/border collie cross if you are wondering.
I've been curious as to whether the M85/2 can fully resolve the K-1 sensor - I use presence of moire as an indication of whether the lens resolved line pairs approach the pixel density. Haven't seen any moire this month to date although finding a subject with just the right frequency patterning is rather luck of the draw. Portraits of this beastie today though invoked some moire. In the image above, the fur on his forehead needed a dose of the moire local adjustment brush in Lightroom to tidy up. So I'm now comfortable to state that the M85 is able to keep up with the K-1's resolution.
More of the beastie...
Poised for action
He's incredibly ball chasing/catching focused - his owner (my son) has a ball in his hand. I don't need to tell you which side of camera he is on!
