This is where I am going to be posting my photos for the month of March.
In previous months I did small thematic series, ie. 3 days of b/w, days of blue. This month I will be going through the K5's build in filters and cross processing options to add a little spice to the challenge - at least it should be a laugh :-)
The lens for the month is my favorite one lens only solution: The DA 21mm.
Day 1: Bucket tree
Day 2: Got any more?
Day 3: 72 percent
Day 4: Horses
Day 5: Soft flowers
Day 6: Forest
Day 7: Forest too
Day 8: Highway

Day 1: Bucket Tree
A tree near the local school with buckets.
RAW - JPEG converted in camera, with +2 sharpen, +2 contrast, bright setting. Then the JPEG was given the extract colour filter with red and blue.

So what's the story on that one?

I am led to believe (by my son who is 8½) that the buckets are formally used for wearing on your feet while you hand hold the rope. Like not very tall stilts. The secondary function is apparently some kind of throwing apparatus ;-)

Perhaps that is this years crop on the tree.
They look ready for harvesting.

Slightly non-obvious. I like the effect, though, the buckets seem to lead you on through the trees.
