I was looking for shoreline pictures this afternoon when this bloke wandered past carrying a scooter! There was nowhere for him to use it, only beach sand or some fairly rough rock platform. The nearest smooth pavement was about 500 metres away and he'd just come from there. No matter, he provided today's picture.
"All dressed up and nowhere to go ...." K1 + K 200/4 @ f8 with modest crop.

Forgot the theme again, but this time it was easy fix. First windsurfing session for me this season. While getting out of wetsuit, I noticed how sun made these leafs glow with green light. But because of the theme the official shot for the day in B&W.
K5 M50/2 ISO80 f7.1 1/160:
And the intended color version as second:

Quick trip into the city centre after work today to get some shots of a visiting big wheel.

Day 9 and I remembered the theme for today:
K-30 Black Knight, Pentax A 50mm f2, flash and @f14. Used Nik collection Silver Efex Pro 2 to convert it.

This was a cunning plan that did not entirely come off. I have a friend who is a master of dark, shadowy B&W photography and this is my attempt to pay homage to a shot of his. The angle is perhaps a little too much, but of all my shots I liked it best. Unfortunately I my battery was just about dead so there was no going back. And because it is spring and light until at least 9:30 at night I wasn't even able to try this until late. So this is as good as it gets for the day!

Thought to take a shot before leaving in the morning. Good thing since I only got one other shot in at night. The assigned category for our local camera club was "botanical" last night. I did not submit anything but the commentary by the judge did cause me to look a little more carefully, even at a quick shot for the Single In.
K-3ii with Pentax-F 80-200mm F/4.7-5.6.

On Wednesday it started out showery and overcast but then cleared up nicely. I took inspiration from Pepperberry with the shirts, but went one step further and ironed. I did want to try the Golden Penda berries again with a yellow-green filter rather than the green, I wondered if it would give better contrast and pop, and I think it did. I've thought for a while that the green actually condenses tonal range, a bit like the blue filters. I also started experimenting with flare. These Cosina lenses will give veiling, ghosting, and also rings if you work hard enough, or get caught out!
