Definitely agreed, JM. For one, metering and manual focusing are second nature to me now, it just feels natural and smooth. And I know from the results over this month that my lens can give me amazing results at any aperture...so long as I don't screw up. It's nice for me to be the variable and not, say, an AF algorithm...On the other hand, it's true, I'm damn tired of this lens at the moment
Thank you for the compliment! Though as I approach graduation I find it harder and harder to think of myself as young...(that'll change completely come September)

Agreed, it is limiting. But it's the one I'll be using for SIA, and when I travel I tend to take a 70mm-e or 80mm-e, a 20mm-e, and maybe a 50mm-e. I find I get a high rate of keepers from the 70-80mm-e range. Much as you've done.
Thanks ucceme, and good luck with it next month! The awkwardness grows on you, or it does to me anyways...it just got tiring for me too

the last 3 to go up were all great, though my favourite is still the minimalist shot before them
looking forward to seeing April's pics
Thanks eddie! I agree, I quite like that one.
Well, last one now. Not so many words as my last post as I already got all my musings out...
