Ok after the walk home with assorted lenses and film cameras yesterday i decided to participate with the M 50 f1.7. After 2 months of slow lenses and mostly at the wider end I need to change things up. I'll save the lentar 21 for the nicer weather when i can get out of the city and do some landscapes
I'll post an album and cross post here. Have a lot to weed through from yesterday so i'll get them up tonight or tomorrow as I have to go out to the suburbs after work today (an 1-1.5 hours for a usual 20 minute trip due to rush hour)
some great stuff in the threads and albums on a quick review, it'll be tough just to keep up with all the shots everyone is doing

Ok the first 2 days. One of the things i really missed with the last 2 lenses was the low light capabilities and nice DOF and Bokeh, think this will help with that
Day 1, Salt of various pedigrees
Day 2 playing with low light

That M50 is hard to beat, especially for the price.
Nice smooth transitions in the bokeh in the salty shot.

I like the second image better .. more contrast and that nice big black stretch on the left.

I have a feeling given how time pressed i am right now at work you'll see a lot of bokeh shots, far easier to come up with and don't require me going on the hunt for inspiration. Sure is a nice change from shooting wide and slow last 2 months

That's a pretty cool toy, and very well shot.
I only managed the mobile phone store myself.
