A bit late but I am up so here it is. The pennies are not overly special or valuable except for the fact that my uncle probably collected them in the 1930s and they eventually made it to me. Quite fun. And perhaps of my grand daughters will be able to bring them out to show their grand children when the coins are 200 years old.

On flickr from the same collection of coins are two shots of a well worn Liberty V nickel with the flash at slightly different angles. One appears like a blank disk of metal but in the other you can begin to see the outline.
