It's no Tak... but it's quite nice.

Funny wee extra dial which opens up the diaphragm no matter what you've stopped down to, so you can have a nice bright viewfinder. I must admit I'm not 100% it then stops down when you take the photo... bears careful investigation, I suppose.

Safety... Well, not really, but that was my feeling when I decided to go take a quick landscape in a perfect weather from familiar easy to reach hill top I have often used to take shots while in Ruka. Now even easier, as the caravan area got relocated by the bottom station of the slopes from that hill, so it's even shorter drive up. There's car park near the top. It's so easy place to shoot as you 360 view and every direction is beautiful, that it's like a cheat code for SIC. ...And I have pics to prove it. Sorry for the long post in advance

For the official shot I continue with my anchor lift serie.

More hills in the south, but didn't feel like shooting straight to the sun so I skip them also.

Sorry for long and wasteful entry to the month. I know there's almost a weeks worth of shots there. I'll head out tomorrow and the weather was special today, so couldn't resist. Morning was even more beautiful with more fog floating in the ground, but I was busy with training on the slopes.

My Single in... lens is going to be my K50/4 macro lens. I thought I would start with a photo of a die cast model of HMS Nigeria that was given to me yesterday by my wife. This is the ship my father served on in World War Two in the Pacific. I'd prefer to take it off the cardboard mount but until I have some sort of display box, I've left it on for now.

I am using a slightly less costly 28mm F2 than Sandy This month. The Komine made Vivitar 28mm 1:2 Close focussing lens. Here probably @2.8 I made a colour and a Mono edit:

OK, another 135mm this is my Pentax M 135mm f3.5 on my KP. The weather was meh, and I had about 5 minutes

I'm going with the Super Takumar 55/2, the one with the backward aperture. My copy is a bit battered but has the original hood.

K-3 with Voigtlander Ultron 40mm f2 SL II

Vivitar Series 1 19-35mm f/3.5. There's a fair amount of distortion at this focal length (19mm, I believe). I left it uncorrected.

After attending an afternoon wedding and dancing into the wee hours (9:30 pm) I decided I'd better capture something to begin the month. I did, but fell asleep with the computer on my lap. This was a gift from a friend as I left Albania last week after a short trip. It is filled with his Raki aged in an oak barrel. It is very good, as long as you sip it slowly and enjoy the warmth.
