Really nice shots, rails are good , but I like umbrella shot as the best one.

Sep 4 I liked the texture with this one, but the other shot won out.

Sep 12th Runners-up. Had a hard time deciding today.

Zed...We've got a Bug

You were stung as a child, weren't you?

That lat "bug" is just brilliant! I wonder what was that critters last thoughts! LoL...I might be little evil to laugh something like this, but still. Great shot.

It was on our front storm door, so I shot through the glass and used on-board flash for the f/22 and to black out the background. After the shot, I captured the Katydid and my wife took it to her Biology classroom to feed to an Eastern Fence Lizard. It squared off against the lizard and the lizard left it alone, so she figured it deserved to be set free when it was still alive on the 2nd day.

Sci-fi alternative shots and PP. 1st is simple B/W but ISO 1250. 2nd used that shot as a base but the conversion was done as an IR photo effect, so I tried to make it look a little like an NVG shot.

So, it survived after all, with some minor scratches. Well used flash to isolate subject.

I like your lizard shots too.
