Shooting red carpet at Sundance, borrow/rent a body?

Hey all, a friend of mine got me a press pass to shoot a brunch event at Sundance this Sunday. I'll be shooting with my K-5 but it would be great to do this with two bodies so I can quickly jump between my 50-135 and FA 31 without switching lenses. Is there anywhere local I could rent a Pentax body or would anyone be willing to let me rent theirs?
Bringing at least one flash would be a good idea as well but I don't own any (I just shoot natural light stuff so I haven't invested yet). Again, anywhere I can rent these or anyone willing to let me rent theirs?
And lastly, anyone have any tips for covering these types of things? I don't do this professionally but I've covered a few events like CES, Macworld, a few concerts, etc. for fun or to help a friend and this event will be for helping a friend.
Thanks!

It went okay considering I hadn't shot anything like that before and I didn't have a flash. I'll be prepared for the next time though.
