Anyone know where there is a good place to shoot birds and other wildlife in Utah? I'm in Ogden, and would like to go somewhere close by to shoot wildlife with my 300mm lens on my P67II. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John

Back in high school biology we had a required birding project. My teacher took us out to the GSL near the duck club. The variety of species wasn't mind-blowing but I was consistently surprised that we kept seeing more and more birds. A lot of brown and gray scenery, but you'll most likely get a decent number of shots.

There is a pair of nesting eagles in North Salt Lake, it would require some fence jumping to get close enough but there are 2 adults and 2 kids right now. Around Willard Bay there is probably some osprey and other birds.

If you head up Big Cottonwood Canyon to Albion Basin, you can probably find Moose. Worst case, you end up with some great shots anyway.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the information. I am going to take advantage of the great weather and go shooting with my P 67II. I'll post pics later. Again thanks!
