I heard back from my friend that has the iOptron mount:
Quote: It's quite a good mount, especially when using DSLR's. I found it to be fairly easy to set up and polar align. Once it's aligned up, it actually tracks pretty well. With a 200mm lens, I have done 2 min exposures *without* autoguiding. Also, the GOTO, once aligned is quite good! It's also pretty compact and easy to travel with. Not very power hungry...1 A, 12V.
Also, for Casual observing, you can easily put a 6-8 inch reflector and it'll keep tracking objects quite well for a couple of hours.
However, It's weight limit is 27 lbs. When I load it up to around 20 lbs (my AT6RC plus camera), I have not gotten my autoguiding to be very good (like +/- 2-3 pixels max errors), but that's probably largely "user error".
