A truly amazing stargazer night, even though it only lasted 3-4 hours while the sun was sufficiently below the horizon, I did the Bode & Cigar Galaxy, the Pinwheel Galaxy and finally the Owl Nebula. The Owl Nebula was a race against the sun, I only managed 50x30sec before there were too much light at 3:30 AM.

WOW! I tried M81/82 the other night and got...well, nothing I would show here, anyway. Love the details in the Pinwheel.

So do I, this was the final call until August 8th.
The danish summernights are too bright to do any astrophotography, lasting from now until beginning of August
Then I will see if I can get Stellarmate OS to work 100% with the K-70 and enjoy your pictures

I figured you could do globular clusters at least.

I’ll give it a try, otherwise I’ll just do some visual stargazing

Those are really nice esp. regarding the short exposure time and overall integration time. M101 has stunning details and nice Ha-spots.

For me the deep sky imaging season also has ended I fear. I have a set of images of NGC 4244 waiting at home and fewaynes data to test out an that was it.

But there is Jupiter and the Moon for some playing with the scope. I want to try some video imaging with the Om-D of my wife flanged to the 130/910 together with a 2x and a 1.4x Pentax teleconcerter. Maybe because at least these two parts of that setup are Pentax brand I may show the results here....
