While I was out this morning capturing Neowise with the K-3II, I took two quick landscape/nightscape shots. The first was of the scene behind me: the moon, Saturn and Jupiter shining over a farm.
The second was of the scene in front of me, including the part of the sky that contained the comet, just before I was ready to go home. But the sky was so bright the comet was hard to see even in binoculars. (It was never visible to my unaided eyes even when the sky was darker.) Venus is in this shot but it was really the range of colors in the dawn sky that caught my attention.
