One thread about optical tests is especially interesting, names and dates of early articles on the 6X7 system in Modern Photography and some japanese photomags:

The active parts of Greenspun's LUSENET were folded into his Photo.net many years ago. Photo.net used to have a Pentax 67 forum but that was folded into its Medium Format forum, so lots of old 67 info from the LUSENET days are still in there. I haven't heard from Bobby M in 15 years.

Thank´s Steve—Im more and more convinced, that you know everything there is to know on 6X7s. Parts of the mentioned articles (maybe most of?) are at the Antique & Classic Cameras site (here: Antique and Classic Cameras). Maybe, I´ll try and send Bobby M an email? Jakob-- the Antique and Classic Cameras guy was a frequent visitor to Photo.net and got a lot of info on the system from members. If you go into Photo.net you will find lots of old info on the 6x7 if you search the Medium Format section.
