Anyone having a problem with Ray-O-Vac NiMH rechargeables? Lately I have noted that some of my rechargeable Ray-O-Vac batteries do not seem to work in my K-x cameras. I charge them over-night and when I put them into my cameras, the cameras will not turn on. I try the batteries in another device and they work fine. Put the batteries that were in the camera back in and it turns on okay. The batteries also check out as charged and good with a battery tester. Any suggestions or ideas?

I have some rayovac 15min batteries(dont use them in my kx though). It seems they are a bit shorter and have a tapered positive end which I can imagine may prevent them from coming in contact with the camera positive contact due to some insulated tabs one each side of camera contact

Thanks for the reply but I do not think that is the problem. I have had the batteries for a couple years and they have been used previously in the camera and worked perfectly. The problem began only recently, they test as good by my tester, and they work perfectly in other devices. Also, I have a few more of the same batteries and they continue to work in the cameras.
