Robski,
Beautiful car. I remember looking at one, new, in a dealer's showroom, back then. Ford , I felt did a beautiful job on recapturing the essence of the original Bullit movie. That dark Highland green, the standard transmission, the spirited performance of the modern day Ford modular V8 as in your Mustang . The new Bullit edition (as per your car) has quite an appeal...well equipped with V8/standard transmission...those modern day wheels that remind me of the old 1960's American Mag wheels....and I bet a real nice exhaust note that compares well to the old '68 Mustang fastback 390, 4 speed of the movie.
Nice pictures...I like how you have caught those Mustang styling cues.

Great photos, too. That first one is truly evocative.

Jer,
I also have a copy of the Bullit DVD and... yes.... for the same reasons you do...to get my occasional 'fix' .....watching...and listening...to the car chase scenes...with the 440 cube Charger and Mustang 390 as they race through San Francisco.
Jacqueline Bisset's Porsche 356 Cabriolet...and the BSA 650 Lightning motorcycle, that is laid down (by Bud Ekins I think) at the end of the chase, to avoid a crash are two bonus additions in the vehicle casting of this movie.
