That's because where I usually go, I find the wind backs around after a hurricane passes, to come from the land; which tends to flatten the waves. Regardless, thanks for the tip, maybe next time.
I enjoyed my first time eagle watch the first of the year. There were photogs there also from Quebec and New Brunswick, as well as other parts of N.S. Does anyone know if it's a migration or just a gathering? If a migration, wouldn't there be also a autumn migration? By the way, I've reached a milestone for me, with my 22codfish gallery in DPReview - over 500 photos. That's because I started the gallery before I bought my K5.
I should have posted that a lot sooner, fortunately the hurricane was well off shore and conditions were relatively fair. Don't know about the eagles but its likely that they are "already gone" lol, but congrats on the 500 + photos on DPReview. I am up to zero.
