I have a camera back pack that is capable of containing my K3, batteries, lenses chargers and laptop. I also have a canvas messenger bag that collapses flat that goes in my luggage and can be used to carry the camera and selected lenses for the day’s shooting. I also have a Mephoto carbon fiber tripod that also can be converted to a monopod and folds up small enough to also go in the luggage. Most days I will only carry my 18-135mm and a 55mm F1.8 lens. The 55 mm lens works well in low light situations and with the camera turned sideways can be used to take several shots that can then be merged to make a wide angle image in churches and other low light places. Have a great trip and please share your results. I carry the backpack on the plane with a small rollaboard with some clean socks and underwear in case my checked luggage is lost. Do not plan to carry toiletries on the plane, they should go into your checked luggage.
