Sadly, no, I couldn't get away, and my time is waning. I usually don't photograph celestial events, but it would have been nice to get Comet Leonard all the same.

Oh, sorry, poor phrasing. I meant my window of opportunity to photograph the comet is waning. This time of year, I have a lot of stuff going on so it’s challenging to break away to photograph at night.

Phew, ok. That's good news. Well over here it is no longer visible at just 4 degrees over the morning horizon. Still, there's always some milky way to shoot and plenty other nice stuff.

Indeed, and the twilight and night have a lot to offer. Digital is just so much nicer than chemical for doing low light work.
