Sorry for all the pics but it was a fun day today. Found this Santa on the side of the highway...had to stop! Then to fav kitchen store. Then lunch out. Followed by walk on the dock. Beautiful day. Nice to be out and about a bit. K-3 + DA10-17FE.

Had a special visitor above the door to one of the bedrooms in the house this morning- large fellow, and by my estimate something like 40/50 years old (that would be according to a program I watched about these house spiders- much smaller one estimated at 25 years of age.

Day 3, FA 77 + K-1

Going to dedicate this month on learning Blender and i'v been looking through tutorials, then doing some trying and error -> learn. And sometimes I go through the tutorial like this too. Youtube is nice. handy way to learn new things and ways people does things. it just does take ages to do. Le't see if one month is enough to build fundamentals of this.

First day in school in 10 weeks and my car wouldn't start this morning. Luckily, when I got home my local garage helped me start it and then sourced and fitted a new battery in an hour. Good garage that has been looking after our cars for 24 years. Not much time for photography though... K1 with F 70-210

At work with the mighty Olympus TG-6, these shots are brass filings after being machined. The photo quality of the TG-6 is, well pretty bad but it excels for close up shots like this and even has in camera focus stacking hand held.

My March mojo is weak.. I was really hoping to get outside again... but after tripping over my dogs favourite things I took it as inspiration and a public display of helplessness... (I've not even scratched the surface of all the toys stashed around the house)
