Had a nice walk in the woods today. Not too often I get to shoot wildlife with the GR



Sort of liked this one better, though.

Had to go into Sheffield city centre this morning so took the opportunity to take some architectural shots. Today's lens is the Pentax DA 40 XS on the K3.

I've shot this street before but thought it would work in mono.

And I like the light on this one even if I should have been using a wider aperture...

Johannesburg Botanical Gardens for a short visit today, and found some love locks. The attempts to copy what happens elsewhere in the world is just not taking off here in SA. K-30 with the Sigma 28-80mm Aspherical Macro lens


And this swallow was quite content to sit on the rail, and I got to within about 40cm from it, and could shoot it with the same lens.

I had a busy day today, but a I managed a shot of the teapot with my 35mm f/2 Super TAK on the GX9

K-3 with Vivitar (Komine) 55mm f2.8 Macro

This one came out sharper than I expected, might have to print it larger
