K-5 IIs with Soligor C/D 35mm f2 P

Hidden, not hidden. An installation made by the girl's engineering club at my school. The names on the crosses are the fallen from the school in WW1.



Today's lens is the M42 Practicar 35-70 3.5-4.5 macro on the K3. The macro is not bad, possibly it would be sharper with a bit more light...

Managed to get a few shots on my way home today - the opera house to the rescue again

A couple of hours uprooting some rampant weeds in the garden today, and this lady made an appearance, and irresistible. Caught in yellow plastic bowl and shot a couple. She also had an egg sac with her.


And a Grub also made an appearance


K-30 with the Sigma 28-80mm Aspherical Macro Lens, coupled with the screw-on magnifying glass.

I finally got out of the house early enough to take some phots and meandered down into Bedford, NY to visit the Bedford Oak. They (whoever they are) believe it to be 500 years old
