I'm not one for supplying much in the way of tips, but always appreciate tips from others ....and do often need a little help.
Since we are growing in numbers here, maybe we can help each other?

Here is something I discovered with my K5IIs that works even better on the K1. If you use Tav a lot, in low light it tends to expose a little too bright. Did on the K5IIs and does on my K1. Switching to M and setting the ISO while slowing the shutter speed can give you a shot that while underexposed some, will very easily push on the K1 without worry about noise. Much better results than with Tav, in particular in low light. Even on the Bigma the SR can handle the slow speed.
For example....Tav chose ISO 4000 on this shot so I switched to M and set ISO at 1600 1/100. Pushed it in processing and got a better result.
Anyhow, really good shooters already know stuff like this...but it was something I only recently learned.
