Gentlemen, start your engines. The Race of Gentlemen is set to take place 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 on the beach in Allenhurst and Loch Arbour. What is it? It’s a car show with horsepower as drivers will race pre-1936 antique cars and pre-1950 antique motorcycles on the shore, just like they used to do in the old days.

What are you bringing to shoot with?

I'll be walking around with a K5 - DA 18-135 zoom - 85-210 old K mount zoom and have some FA Limited with me as well. maybe some old Takumar lens too.

there is supposed to be a pre-show tonight at 8pm with live bands. anyone going to that?

well Mel and the Oilers are petty hard core hot rodders and they did put a lot of work in to this. So people will be there rain or shine I bet. as for me. I'm doing 2 shows this saturday one in Ringo's and the other being this one, so I'm laying low tonite. was at Acto Raceway last nite for their show.
