Fellow frozen MN Pentax shooters,
On December 11 I purchased a referb 70-200 Tamron F 2.8 from National camera in Roseville. I wanted it to shoot indoor hockey. I ended up returning it because the focus motor was just not fast enough. I paid $ 619.00 for it. If any of you are looking for a really good glass at a good price this is it. If you shoot outdoor kids sports or wedding this lens is really really good. It is tack sharp at F 4 and above. At F2.8 it is very sharp in the center with some drop off at the edges. I brought it to a wedding and went head to head against a Cannon 6D with the Cannon 70-200 F2.8. The Cannon is my sister in-law camera. If you put the two shots together you would have to pixel peep to see any difference. I'm shooting with a K-30. The lens is now in the Burnsville National Camera store.
