Hi Uncle Vanya! I was quoting a local newspaper about the bridge from 2010, they got the info about the bridge from a bridge maintenance engineer from NC. But looks like they did not do their homework!

NC DOT says there are 11 "moveable bridges" mostly of the Swing type. They didn't detail all of them however. The thing is they are pretty rare.

If you ever find yourself in Zanesville Ohio, you can take pictures of their 'famous' Y bridge. The three legs meet in the middle of the river. "The best way to get there is to take the Y bridge and turn left in the river". Don't know how many Y bridges there are. We only became aware of this one because our car broke down just outside of town.

That sounds so neat! But, hope not to see it under those circumstances.
