Keith, I liked your shots. My favourite was the tulips in KEITH998. I liked the light.

Some of the flowers looked a bit tatty this year.

I preferred your parade shots to mine. That was a better location than the one I used in 2008. I was in Chalk St. The bright sky in the background & slight backlighting made it hard to get decent shots.

Thanks Dan. Liked yours as well. I should have taken more open space ones like you did to give an idea of the layouts. I was lazy though and didnt change lens. Unfortunately some flowers were a bit early and then some idiots drove through some of the gardens which didnt help. Over all though i thought it was great this year and certainly better than a couple of years ago when with no water they had to have painted pushbikes and trees to get there colour. Cheers. Keith

Anyone organising a SEQ get together in the month of December at this stage?
I may be busy in my holiday period, but wouldn't completely rule out a communal shoot in the area...

Yes, I'm itching for a shot. I'll be on holiday from 7th Dec onwards so weekday is OK too.

1. Victoria Point, Cleveland Point or Redcliffe Beach - pre-dawn/dawn-shoot. Kites at Redcliffe. Kite-surfers at Cleveland Point.

2. Australia Zoo shoot. I found there were more photo opportunities there then at Alma Park Zoo.

3. Other suggestions?

would definitely get my interest.

but what ever works out if i can find the time i'll come.
