The Butterflies in Bloom exhibit at Dow Gardens in Midland, Michigan, is March 2-April 15, 2018. On Wednesdays, hours are extended to 7:30 p.m.
Details are at
http://www.dowgardens.org/butterflies
A brochure identifies 22 butterflies from Africa, Asia, Central and South America and the United States.
Tripods have been allowed, but be aware that many children who could trip are sometimes at the exhibit.
In cold weather, take precautions to deal with lens fogging and viewfinder fogging due to the conservatory's warmth and humidity.
Dow Gardens also has photogenic bridges.
Next to Dow Gardens is the Midland Center for The Arts. However, the Center for the Arts is closed on some of the days Dow Gardens is open.
While in Midland, consider photographing the Tridge pedestrian bridge downtown -- a short drive from Dow Gardens. The unique Midland County Courthouse also is downtown.
