Qantas is hoping to introduce direct services from Sydney to London and New York using Airbus A350XLR aircraft, and the name of the project refers to flights which Qantas did using Catalinas in WW2, the
double sunrise. Wikipedia says that those flights at between 27 and 33 hours remain the longest commercial flights ever operated.
