Last night I was reminded of the "Heroes of the Air" event which was staged at Avalon in 2015 for the hundredth anniversary of WW1 (Avalon was every 2 years, so there wasn't an airshow in 2014).
I was flicking through the photos and found some which I had never previously posted. I'll try to edit a couple more tonight.

The WW1 aircraft were easier to photograph in some respects because they were a heck of a lot slower than the jets! On the other hand, most of the low level tail chasing happened in front of the grandstand and I was at the end of the runway to catch planes landing.
