It seems I will have to answer my own question.
This place appears to be a well kept secret ! A tribe in the Ecuadorian Amazon has given up hunting, turned their neighbourhood into a wildlife sanctuary and decided to make their living by running a high-quality wildlife center in the rainforest. To put it short: this place is a gem !
Spent a week there in January. Saw seven kinds of monkeys, lots of different birds, caymans,an anaconda, reptiles, butterflys and who knows what.
Getting there is a bit time-consuming. First a short flight from Quito to Coca, then two hours on a motorboat and another two hours on a canoe. Nevertheless, for anyone interested in rainforest wildlife it is worth the hassle.
I am still processing the shots from this trip. Just got the first of them accepted into my PPG album
