To get to see these animals in the wilderness you need to be in a hide. The animals move exactly as they wish, and you need to be prepared to just about everything. Sometimes you only get to see them from a distance. With a bit of luck they may come very close. In my gallery there are some shots of bears only 5 meters away. My standard set for this kind of outings is 2 bodies with grips, DA*16-50, FA*80-200,Sigma 300/2,8,Sigma 500/4,5, 1,4x teleconverter (which I hardly ever use),ballhead,beanbags, and other accessories. Carrying all that stuff into the forest and back is not a negligible part of the session
