Anyone have much luck this season in the Rockies with the late summer and early blitz winter? Worst fall shooting season for me in a long time for Colorado- I was out of town in Korea the one weekend things were turning before the snow.

It was a tough year. I got some decent shots but not like last year. One well timed aerial day was pretty good.

I haven't tried drone shooting yet- definitely could open up some interesting fall landscapes. I'm headed to Shenandoah NP & DC this weekend and the color reports are promising, so here's hoping for one last chance at fall color!

I haven't either. I was in a small plane.

It sure seemed like the leaves went from green to brown in the northern part of the state. Not much moisture in August and the leaves just got crispy, I think.
