I just love what this lens does to the out of focus background. There's damn near every shade of the rainbow in there! Love it!

The foreground leaves are only there to compliment the background.

Here's two views of one cactus flower.
It's a Christmas Cactus my wife is culturing and it has had a case of premature floral-ation.

Pretty, none the less.

The first is with the Nokton 58mm and the later with the APO-Lanthar 125mm macro.
Both are taken using my K10D which was tripod mounted. I just realized that I forgot to switch off the SR; guess it didn't make much of a difference.

Stunning pics Piotr, I especially like the second. I can't get my 90 back from my fiance, its all she uses, she loves the size, sharpness and close-focusing.

Nice shots Jeff. This is normal with christmas cacti. The same happens to mine. If you could pass this on to your dear wife; Flowering is determined by temperature and day length. If the temperature is too high, it will flower early. This can be stopped by putting the plant in the dark. Here's a link; Fernlea Flowers - Christmas Cactus

These Voigtlanders are such great lenses, each and every one of them. Someday I hope to add the 90mm to my stable.

Can anybody provide me with the original prices of the Voigtlander 70, 90, 125 and 180 SL1 lenses?

Any rumours of new SL2 releases?
Or did Cosina stop it to not spoil the Zeiss lens line?
