Took my 135/3.5 and Super Tak 200/f4 with the 14x TC for a neighbourhood walk late this afternoon.

All these were taken with the 135/3.5
I love the lens, it's such a joy to use.

Tonight's sunset colours.

Some hand held night time shots with the 135/3.5

Peak hour.

Super Tak with TC 1.4

Check out the size of this hive.

All these pics have only been resized in medium and around the 100 -150KB for another forum

Jay, you did really well with not blowing out the white with the flowers, they are pretty too. My favourite pic though, is the one of the cat.

I know that servo ... been there many times ... seeing as there are plenty of LPG pumps for me to use ... it's a regular stop.

Decent images of the night time traffic ... these have come out really well.

Simon, that servo won't be there from early next year. The owner of the land has sold it to the company that is developing the old ABC grounds.

I really do like the 135mm. I think it's going to become one of my favourite lenses.

Taken yesterday. Some slight cropping and contrast adjustment in picasa (light was fading fast)

First two wide open:

Cropped a bit:

He looks like he's in a bad mood!

I like the 28mm focal length for up close shots that get a lot in the frame,
but not too much. I shoot my 16-50 at 24 - 30mm usually, according to my
EXIF stats, so carrying around a small 28mm f/2.8 instead can get me 80% of
the shots I bring my huge 16-50 for.

pschlute,

Nice work with that 120mm. I've never seen that particular lens before. Speaking of lenses what a collection! A guy could put his back out carrying that lot about.

Cheers,

Tom G

Wow! That's a very impressive collection. I think only Jim King can beat you on that amount of M lenses
