So, I just had to add here that I'm still learning out this lens, here is some of latest. I love way it produces colours. And with just slight distortion...

Sweet, nice processing. I'd love to dare shoot like this, but it takes small steps I guess.

From what Ive seen on ebay, other vendors it seems that.Apeture coupling lever
was "sticky" when I bought it,got home just "flicked" it back/forth with fingers...viola!
Eric and Dave, anyone else that shoots that A35-105/3.5 have any suggestion for
a cheap hood? Bought a generic 28-135 rubber and it vignettes at 35mm.newbie
with this lens, though Ive known for long, long time whats capable of.
was just holding on for the ride with shot above, its all lens and ektar

Yeah, I tried a rubber hood--didn't have a vignetting issue but it was just too cumbersome (and ugly). I picked up a used, no-name cylindrical metal hood on eBay last year: 50mm deep and steps out to a diameter of 80mm. It's great--improves IQ, no vignetting (on DSLR) and gives the lens an A* look.

Thought it was about time to join the club considering I wrote the Pentax-A 35-105mm f3.5 Review in the 'In depth Review' section. I own a bunch of Pentax-A lenses. I love them all. IMO they look and feel like a lens should. The first lens I bought after getting my K-x last July was the a 28mm 2.8. Since then I've been steadily adding 'A' lenses to my collection. My latest acquisition are the 50mm 1.4 (which I have to say it's an amazing lens) and the 35mm 2.8 (which I think is better then my 28mm 2.8).

Anyway, you guys have done a great job with this club. The pictures I've seen in here are amazing. I'll have to add a some of my own when I get a chance.

Here's a shot using my recently acquired Pentax-A 35mm f2.8 @ f5.6. I was testing out the Bokeh and kinda liked this shot so I thought I would share it. It makes me thirsty. I think I'll have one.... or maybe another.
