Since this thread hasn't yet officially been changed to an exclusive gallery with only fine images, I will continue to post mine. I've only been out of the game since I was between lenses but I took delivery yesterday of something that I think I can use for a little while to see what I can do with it. I don't have the reach I used to so I'll have to keep working on getting close and not getting seen.
A Kestrel feeding that I chased to a couple different power poles.

Red Tail Hawk.

This one is more of just a record shot to say it happened but it was the first Peregrine Falcon I've seen in the wild. Pretty cool for me and geez are they agile-acrobatic more-so than ANY other bird I've observed.

Nice and sharp - especially the 3rd one.

Are you going to make us guess what lens you are using now...??

A young Black Crowned Night Heron

Great Blue Heron

Obligatory Moon shot

Its the Adaptall 2 300mm f2.8 60B. It came with the 1.4x converter and I'll probably use it mostly with that attached all the time. We'll see how it goes.

Gone full circle, huh? Your abilities with the 60B haven't been forgotten, that's for sure!

I know, this shot is not ordinary use for FA*300+1.4TC. We were on a sea shore, I tried to catch some black kites with waving success, so my wife sat, a little tired. Then I took a portrait shot.

If previous one is not a good one example for this lens-pair - this is another one shot by FA*300+1.4TC.

These Little Green Bee-Eaters are really good target for novice bird-hunter. They are patient hunters with loop flights - so they'd return on a same place after quick flight and let you try again!

Anyone who thinks 77mm is too long for portraits needs to look carefully at this image.
Wonderful stuff.

I love portraits taken with long lenses, my Sigma 120-300 is a superb portrait lens.

Great stuff Steh. Both your wife & the Bee-eater (lovely birds).

Getting close is what it's all about Little Drawe - 420mm is plenty if you do ! Love the Kestrel - great colours.

Great start! Your loons (first picture) are quite different in colour than ours.

Spring is here NOT!!!!

This is what we see right now (9:56 am) May 23, 2013, on my deck. I don't think I'll be out with the 400 taking pictures of song birds today. Taken through a double glazed door with my K10d and DA-L 55-300. Spot metered on the water boy.
