I took the da15 and da40 skiing yesterday. I put the da15 shots in that mind control thread. Here's a few of the da40 ones.

It was a fun day!

Superb Matt - well done for taking advantage of your surroundings. Must have been great being up there.

Next project - I think the 70 is right for this view. Just needs a bit of work on a better day but I think it'll be the right lens. The Pennine hills are immediately behind but they are 'hazed' out.

And another with the 70.

Playing with DA40 mounted on EOS 5DmkII. Lens has visible vignette, but sharpness is good with exceptions of extrem corners (I could shot only at f2,8).

Great pics on this thread !!

I am particularly fond of the wide angle views taken with the 15 Ltd; of course, there is a specific thread for that but I actually have found a lot more great pics here too which were not posted in the other thread.

@ hawk 232 : I am truly amazed with the pics taken with the DA 21 !!

And while I am enjoying the images, I am thinking that this would be a good place to redirect questions I have on using my DA 15 Ltd with ND filters:

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-slr-lens-discussion/179317-da-15-l...-filter-s.html

If anyone is inteersted to offer some solutions, please reply to my thread above.
(Hopefully this last request will be OK with the mod's ! )

Cheers.

JP

Very nice. I love the mood and the composition low to the ground.

Matt, those are some great shots. I like the last two, in particular. A skier balanced precariously at the edge of a cliff makes for a striking composition as in that second to last shot, though I'd probably be too scared to stand there myself!

Thanks v5! I just had to turn down an offer to do that again tomorrow morning because I have to work. That fear becomes addictive so I'm disappointed I can't get another fix tomorrow.
But there's always the weekend...

Rather like the vibrancy of that one.

Thanks for the comments on the path shot. A lens I'm starting to appreciate more. In fact I seem to be using the primes a lot more at the moment.

I want to do a wide shot using my DA15, with a couple of vintage cars parked in front, all bathed in pink neon.
