You folks never cease to astound me with how well you use this lens, and though I don't post as often as I like, the pictures in this thread continue to be my favorites. Well done.
I've had very little time to enjoy shooting lately, but have gotten in a couple hikes. Found some very unusual (to me) fungi which I think are dryad's saddles, and twisted myself into knots trying to find an angle that would emphasize them. The light was tough, giving me strange color in this one, so I converted to monochrome. Here's one view:
The bulbous base of the lower fungi is about the size of a small cantaloupe. And here's a different view of more from the same tree:
