Revuenon 55mm f1.2

Optically the same as the Cosina 55mm f1.2, a repackaging of earlier Tomioka glass. Sharp wide-open and capable of producing both subtle beautiful portraits and other-worldly almost surreal images. Magic!

If stopped down it is super sharp and produces rendering that is very unique and can be 3Dish.

All wide-open except for the buildings shot. It can be a bit of a PF monster...

With a Raynox 150 Macro adapter for closer focus it is like another lens!

Thanks! I think he's a dachshund mix, he's my friends dog I have to test out some people portraits to get a fix on a workable distance that I'm comfortable with. I was hesitant to use it on a recent paid teen portrait since I haven't played around with it much, so I used the trusty 77mm limited. However, looking at some pics I've taken so far, I can foresee using this lens for dreamy shots, and I like how it rendered my friend at f2 and f2.8 as well as wide open.

Wow, great photos. This lens renders bokeh even better than the Voigt 55 I have been coveting for a while.

May I ask approximately how much you have paid for it. I am going to start looking for one, but don't want to be taken for a ride.

I got mine for $388.43, but I had luck with bidding.
Now that I had it for a while, I know this worths much, much more. Atleast to me.
(I would not trade it for a new DA 55/1.4 or any FA ltds)

Mine was over $400 but I ordered it from Europe, mint. If you are lucky you will find one for ~$300 but that is a steal these days. Someone on here sold one at that price a while back, it went in minutes

I would say $350-450 would be fair. Well worth it. Amazing lens (stopped down as well)
