Nice shots, though not very representative for that type of lens IMHO. Images also need some level adjustment, or I need a new monitor or calibration update, haha

I'd like to see some low-light-lens-fully-open-shots, please. What camera are you using?

The shots were done with a K5. The first one was done at dusk, but it was still pretty light. I definitely need to do more with the lens,

this picture taken with ME Super on Fuji Reala film iso 100, gives you a true perspective of how a picture taken at this focal length.

Here's a couple wide open. First is at or close to the minimum focus distance, and the second is probably focused at a couple of meters or a little more.

I have the very well-regarded K series 28/2 but it's so big and heavy and what I've seen of the M version it seems to have still very good image quality while being a lot smaller and lighter.

Would love to see a really thorough comparison of the M 28 f2, Komine-made 28 f2 from Vivitar, and the Kino Precision 28 f2. I have the Kino 28, and it's alright, but not great wide open. Seems like the Pentax M performs noticeably better at f2.
