Standing about 30 feet away , F 13, Exposure Time 1/90s , ISO 100 . Some people think this lens is a light hog , but you can see even at f13 , 1/90s and iso at 100 there is still plenty of light getting in even at 300 mm . How many 300 mm lens do you know of that can produce this kind of exposure with these setting . It worked very good on my old k10d and even better on my k3 . I cropped the other two photo's way more than I think anyone would , just to show its sharpness . I'm sure it would have been even sharper with a tripod and a faster exposure time . If you ask me its a great carry lens for just about any shot . What more could you ask for from a lens in its price category. Its light weight and compact and the range you get from this one lens 28-300mm I think is a perfect travel lens .
