Rexatar 100mm/2.8

Hey can you tell me any more about this lens?
I cant across it and someone was asking 100 USD for it.. I was wondering for that much if i should look for a better 3rd party lens .

I know a little about Rexatar. Bass Camera in Chicago used to sell them as a house brand in the late 1960s and early 1970s. My first Ricoh Singlex TLS (bought from Bass) shipped with a Rexatar 50/1.8 instead of the Rikenon that it was supposed to have. (Bait and switch was the norm for mail order back-in-the-day.) It was an OK lens, but not as good as the Rikenon which came with my second Singlex. I would not pay more than $30 the lens you posted and would suggest the much better Vivitar 135/2.8 instead.
