Carl Zeiss (aus Jena) Flektogon 2.4/35mm (9 pics)

Great little gem!!

Until very recent, I only knew this little German lens by reputation. I've been following a few on eBay, but recent auctions ended very high!

By accident I stumbled across not one, but two of them! The first one I've found on the 2nd hand shelve of my favorite photography shop, and the other one, two days later, on a flee market just around the corner.

The first had a lazy diaphragm, but after 4 hours of tinkering, I've managed to get it back to live

Some first results with my new arrivals

1 until 4: shot with the left and probably most recent version: definitely sharper, but a bit more vignetting!
5 until 8: the oldest version, before I revived the diaphragm, so all wide open (F2.4)
8 is an unprocessed pixel crop, by the way.

Here are some samples of my CSJ Flektogons. Quite remarkable lenses actually. I have the CSJ Flektogon MC 35/2.4 for M42 and the Prakticar 35/2.4 for the Prakticar PB mount.

Here is the M42 version:

Here is the PB version, held against the camera due to a lack of a proper mount. On Pentax K, it's only really useful for near macro photography.
