| Sigma APO 70-200F2.8 EX
this is the original version of the lens made for film cameras, it is non DG non Macro. SHot using the Sigma APO 2X EX DG teleconverter I have made lots of posts using this lens, but thought as I went through the sample image archive, that some should be saved here for all to see. These have all been posted many times in the past. I use this as my GO TO wildlife lens, when the TC is attached. I find this as sharp or sharper than the later versions.  Note that while both the chick and the adult were physically on this tree, in their exact places this shot is a cheat. a few more additions from this lens paired with the SIGMA APO 2x EX DG Teleconverter all shot with the K5D, using P-TTL flash camera and flash both set to +1EV for compensation of the teleconverter     | |

The Sigma APO 70-200/2.8EX (non DG Non Macro) plus 2x TC is hard to put down. it just keeps producing even though it is now 10 years old image is 100% (cropped to about 1/9 of K5 sensor) JPEG right out of the camera  | |
