I have received this lens on the faulty Fujica ST701 body that came to me along with other junk from Japan. Lens has been full of fungus - cleaned it. Only small bits of damages on lens coating left on the rear element along the edge. Otherwise thing is perfect.,
Anyway.. I know this is supposed to be a very good lens and I got M42 adapter for it to try on my K10D.
First of all I have noticed that in poor light conditions camera does wrong metering and I always needed to add 1stop of correction (outdoor - no problems though)
Good thing was that focus confirmation was working nearly 100% just few misses.

Here are some quick samples done. More thorough test to follow (I will make some sort of studio like set up and will test at all apertures)

1. My dog. Very low light. F=1.4 ISO=200


2. My young daughter. F=1.4 ISO=200



3. My son. Same f=1.4 iso=200




4. Shot trough window against the light. f=1.4



5. Plant in my garden. F=5




As I said earlier I will add more pics on this lens.

Looks good -- what is the exact lens model? One of with EBC coating?

K10D metering with old lenses can be challenging -- you'll just have to get used to what adjustments you need to make at which apertures.

Lens is not EBC - I guess the older model. I have plans to make more tests on this lens later on and will also make a pictures of the subject.
