It's good to know of another Pentax fan in this area. I have a number of "photographer friends" with whom I sometimes go out to take pictures, but none of them have Pentaxes.

I acquired a K1 with the DFA 28-105 a bit over a year ago, and have been building an interesting lens collection for it, one at a time. I'm a retired wedding photographer, but now I mostly only do landscapes, travel, macros, family stuff, and other things of personal interest. I'm looking forward to spring, when I can get out more with my Pentax outfit.

I'll try to stay in touch, and let you know if an outing is planned, so perhaps we can meet up somewhere. And feel free to contact me if you get the urge to go out shooting and would like some company. Sorry for the slow response. I haven't been on here in a few days. To answer your question, no, I do not attend any of the local camera or photography clubs. Up until I retired in June of 2016 I didn't have the time. Since then I just haven't sought out any.
Over the past several years I been on several of Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photowalks and never saw one Pentax camera.
I have been an exclusive Pentax shooter ever since I acquired my first Pentax camera, an ME Super, in 1985. I got my first Pentax digital camera, the K10D, in 2008 and bought the K-1 when they first came out in May of 2016. Over the years I have also acquired a few Pentax, Takumar and a handful of third party lenses.

I'm a fairly new K1 user and was looking to find any other Pentax users in the Central Ohio area, and just found your entry on the Pentax user map, and entered my own location in Upper Arlington. Do you attend any of the local camera or photography clubs? I go to the monthly meetings of The Focus Group, which meets on the second Friday of each month at the Upper Arlington Municipal Building. I don't think anyone there uses Pentax stuff.
