Daphne posing in a sunbeam on my car roof away from neighborhood dogs and coyotes.

Daphne walked up to me one day while I was getting the mail when she was about 4 weeks old. Daphne lived about 17 years despite constant threats from day one when a neighbor's dog got konked on the head and dropped her before it could finish the job and she responded by combing its nose. That one never tried again. Many many varmints fell prey to her stealthy gaze and well honed skills before old age and cancer finally took her from my lap a couple years ago.
